The story of Steve Tate who has been the subject of the last few posts would not be complete without a photo of the Miss Brenda Joyce. She is a classic shrimp boat and I hope as I am typing this, she is out catching lots of shrimp.

Steve Tate, Delivering One of His Poems – Photo (Video) for Dec. 2
Steve Tate is a poet who performs his own work. I met him while taking pictures of shrimp boats in Brunswick, GA. – please see two previous posts. Steve was preparing the boat he works on to go out shrimping, thus the engine sound and activity in the background. In between work and getting his picture taken, I was entertained by his wonderful, thoughtful and at times colorful verses.
I hope you enjoy this video, my first posted attempt, and pass it on to friends as I intend to do during this holiday season. Steve when not out fishing resides in Bath, NC and is looking for a literary agent. This material is copyrighted.

Steve Tate, Poet – Photo for Nov. 30
I intend to post more of Steve Tate. I met him this morning on a shrimp boat in Brunswick, GA. We visited as he and the crew worked at getting ready to go shrimping. I think Steve is a very good poet, who has a gift for delivering his thoughtful verses and entertained me with several original works.

These are part of a series of photos I took at our “Edge of the World” on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I have posted these in various forms, particularly as part of a YouTube video, but thought they deserved a place here as a slide show.

This building was designed by Richard Neutra, one of America’s leading architects. The building was built in the early 1960s and was closed by the National Park Service shortly after this photo was taken. The building was than to be demolished, but is still standing and I have and will continue to post photos of it.
