Baltimore Project, Door Series No. 1 – Photo For October 31
The old doors from the building demolition were used to form barricades to prevent the rumble from falling into the street. Some of the doors still had door handles.
Shrimp Boats, Benny Hudson Seafood No. 1 – Photo For October 30
I took this photo in moderately rough water, it was a good test of the stabilization feature of the camera.
Baltimore Project No. 5 – Photo For October 29
This is one of my favorite images from this series and I wanted to post it again since I rescanned the negative.
Man In Baltimore, Baltimore Project – Photo For October 28
The Baltimore Project was inspired by a drive through of a neighborhood being torn down. I took a series of photos through the car window and later returned to take the rest of the series.
Vessels On The May River – Photo For October 27
Our waterways are populated with numerous unique vessels. Here is a barge with a crane and push boat. Probably preparing to do some work on the shoreline.
May River Boat House – Photo For October 26
I have been very busy boating since arriving down south. I have a number of water related photo projects, but to date have been more concerned with familiarizing myself with the boats and local waters than photographing. Passed this interesting old boat house on the May River, and thought it would come out well in black and white.
National Casket Co – Photo For October 25
I took this photo in Baltimore, probably along the waterfront in 1969. I could not resist posting it after I scanned it recently.
Photo For October 24
After just finishing a Power Squadron course which included boat safety equipment, I could not resist taking this photo.
Baltimore Project No. 4 – Photo For October 23
There were not only homes involved, but also businesses destroyed.
