I seem to be having a hard time catching up with my daily posts. Too many projects and too much time boating! Unfortunately, old boats seems to often share the demise of the one in this photo. The circumstances of how it got there are still a little questionable, so will not comment.

I have been very busy boating since arriving down south. I have a number of water related photo projects, but to date have been more concerned with familiarizing myself with the boats and local waters than photographing. Passed this interesting old boat house on the May River, and thought it would come out well in black and white.

My initial experiments taking photographs from a boat underway seem to be going well. I was particularly concerned with maintaining details, which at a high shutter speed seem to be no problem.
