Sun, Clouds, Sand And Water No. 3 – Photo For November 9
I like the mirror effect of the light through the clouds and reflected in the water. Again adjusted in Lightroom and Silver Efex Pro 2.
Sun, Clouds, Sand and Water No. 2 – Sunrise – Photo For November 8
This is the start of an early morning study of the beach. The first post of this series was the Photo For November 7.
Bad Day For Shrimp Boats No. 2 – Photo For November 5
I want to return to this wreck and the one on the previous post at low tide and get another perspective of them lying in the flats. Low tide compared to these photos would probably expose another four to five feet of the wrecks. The problem is that I do not want to join them aground at low tide!
Bad Day For Shrimp Boats No. 1 – Photo For November 4
I seem to be having a hard time catching up with my daily posts. Too many projects and too much time boating! Unfortunately, old boats seems to often share the demise of the one in this photo. The circumstances of how it got there are still a little questionable, so will not comment.
Shrimp Boats, Benny Hudson Seafood No. 1 – Photo For October 30
I took this photo in moderately rough water, it was a good test of the stabilization feature of the camera.
Vessels On The May River – Photo For October 27
Our waterways are populated with numerous unique vessels. Here is a barge with a crane and push boat. Probably preparing to do some work on the shoreline.
May River Boat House – Photo For October 26
I have been very busy boating since arriving down south. I have a number of water related photo projects, but to date have been more concerned with familiarizing myself with the boats and local waters than photographing. Passed this interesting old boat house on the May River, and thought it would come out well in black and white.
Photo For October 24
After just finishing a Power Squadron course which included boat safety equipment, I could not resist taking this photo.
Port Royal Cement Company – Photo For October 18
My initial experiments taking photographs from a boat underway seem to be going well. I was particularly concerned with maintaining details, which at a high shutter speed seem to be no problem.
